After 10 years of successful sailboat construction, Mylius Yachts shipyard is coming back to the motor yacht segment with an official presentation of its latest M47P model at the boat show in Düsseldorf
The 15.4-metre boat was designed by the yard’s long-time designer, Alberto Simeone, and built using fiberglass infusion with epoxy resin and carbon reinforcements.
The Mylius M47P’s design stands out for clean, muscular contours, which convey a sense of lightness and enhance the boat’s racing character: with Mercury 500 R outboard engines, she can reach a staggering speed of up to 56 knots.
One of the model’s highlights is the carbon hardtop that resembles a wave rising from the deck.
The Mylius M47P can be operated as a fast cruiser or as a high-performance superyacht tender. Thanks to the reduced wet surface area, the double-step hull enables rapid planing and superior control and comfort at high speeds. According to the shipyard, the deck remains dry even at the top speed.
The helm station features ergonomic Besenzoni seats and two 19-inch Garmin displays, allowing one to control all the devices and onboard systems. In addition to the steering wheel, there is also a joystick for easier docking maneuvers.
The choice of outboard engines enabled a smart and functional layout with spacious areas both on deck and below. The guests can choose to have al fresco dinners in the comfortable cockpit, equipped with a carbon table, comfortable seats and a mini galley with a stove and a fridge.
While at anchor, the seats designed specifically for higher speeds can be transformed into a spacious sunbathing area. If necessary, the cockpit can be enclosed with custom-made tents, which will allow one to navigate even in chillier months. There is also an option of fold-down side wings, which make it easier to access the water.
Below deck there are two comfortable cabins for four. The standard layout offers a forward owner’s cabin with a double bed, a bathroom and lots of storage space. The guest cabin is licated aft and accessed from the cockpit. There are two single beds and a bathroom.
However, the yard can offer an alternative layout with a master cabin aft. A wide range of finishing options allows one to create an absolutely individual interior featuring carbon, different kinds of wood and fabrics, including such premium choices as Loro Piana or Maria Flora. Customization extends to the hull colour, too.
