The all-new model will sit between the 17.68-metre F55 and the 20.3-metre flagship of the flybridge range, the F65
Despite the fact that the F58 has preserved all the “family traits” of the F-Class range, designers have managed to update her profile and make it even more elegant. The signature “smile” of the hull windows is still there, complete with an elegant element aft, which makes her stand out among other Princesses.
According to the yard, the new model will be the first Princess model below 80-feet to offer sustainable silent running/hotel services battery option. It is also known that the yacht offers a choice of diesel MAN V8-1000 or MAN V8-1200 engines, capable of delivering up to 34 knots.
The exterior spaces have been designed with sociability and relaxation in mind. Thus, the flybridge configuration maximizes its usable area and can be home to a spacious dining area and a bar complete with electric barbecue. The helm location ensures good visibility and offers a second companion seat or a U-shaped sofa on the starboard side to keep the captain company.
Despite the size of the yacht, her foredeck is home to a “terrace” with a sofa and two sunpads with storage lockers or optional cool boxes just like on larger yachts. However, the cockpit is rather compact: there is just a small sofa and a convertible table.
Designers have definitely paid a lot of attention to the beach club, where owners have various options of storage for water toys or a waterside barbecue complete with a sink and a fold-down transom seat similar to those offered by another British shipyard, Sunseeker.
There is a galley at the entrance to the saloon and a dining area opposite, while the living room with a large sofa is brought closer to the helm station.
The owner’s stateroom is traditionally located amidships, but separated from the engine room with a bathroom and a dressing room. There is a VIP-cabin forward, and a compact twin cabin, which can be converted into another double. The master stateroom is ensuite, while others share one more bathroom. It’s interesting to note that there is an option of a single crew cabin aft.
According to Princess Yachts, the first F58 will go into production later this year and make her debut early in 2025.
Along with the F58 premiere, Princess lineup at boot Düsseldorf 2025 will also include the S80, S65, Y85 and Y72 models, as well as a very special edition of the V40 to mark the 60th Anniversary of Plymouth-based shipyard.
