While the first unit of the flagship model was sold in April 2024 to a client from Europe, the second one will head for the US

“This project will highlight our unparalleled expertise in crafting customized, high-performance yachts that cater to the unique preferences of our discerning clients”, said the spokesperson for Сantiere delle Marche. And to confirm the statement they yard told about a standard pickleball court, which they located on a yacht to meet the onwer’s request (it is a game combining elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong).

This construction required making significant structural modifications to the reference model. The Upper deck overhang had to be extended considerably, and during the game a light structure composed of carbon fiber poles and a net encircles the court to prevent balls from falling overboard.

Two dedicated viewing areas were created for the spectators of the game: one is adjacent to the court on the upper deck and the other one is on the sundeck, offering a “sky-view”, as well as amazing seascapes. The upper deck can also be used as a touch-and-go helipad for an EC130.

The extended upper deck overhang created a generous shaded area on the main deck, which is home to a 7-meter tender and jet skis, as well as a an overhead crane. When both the tender and the jet skis are in the water, this space transforms into a luxurious outdoor lounging area with a bar, a heated pool, free-standing furniture and fold-down bulwarks.

To accommodate all kinds of equipment that the owner is planning to use both on the water and the land, there are two dedicated storage areas. The one that is located on the lower deck is accessible via a hull door, facilitating easy loading of supplies, which are stored in the galley and in a walk-in freezer. There is also a locker for waste storage, capable of holding it for up to two weeks.

Another feature is an elevator connecting the lower, main and upper decks, as well as a gym, a massage area, a spa with a sauna and an ice tub pool.

The Flexplorer 165 will be powered by two Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines, capable of delivering a top speed of 15 knots. At a cruising speed of 10 knots the explorer’s range will be 4800 nautical miles.

The yacht offers four guest cabins on the lower deck and an owner’s cabin on the main deck. There are also five cabins for the crew and a captain’s cabin.

The Flexplorer 165’s exterior design and naval architecture are owed Hydro Tec, while the interiors were entrusted to Design Unlimited.
