Polish Sunreef Yachts known as an expert in large multihulls construction has announced the completion of the first Sunreef 43M Eco hull

The model that was first unveiled early in 2022 will become the world’s largest electric catamaran with a length 42.7 m and a beam of 15.4 m. The contract for the first unit was signed in the autumn of 2022.

“The hull unmoulding brings us closer to building one of the most revolutionary vessels in the yachting industry," said Francis Lapp, founder and president at Sunreef Yachts. "The Sunreef 43M Eco’s composite structure offers the best of robustness and weight efficiency, while her architecture, build quality and green tech solutions make her the world’s most advanced electric superyacht."

The yacht’s hull was built using a single-shot infusion method, allowing for a lighter and stronger structure while minimizing volatile organic compound emissions.

Thanks to the modular construction approach, various yacht components can be developed simultaneously, enhancing project management efficiency and maintaining precision.

The yacht’s hull, superstructure and rigging feature over 120 sq.m of integrated solar panels, providing the catamaran with green energy. The Sunreef 43M Eco also includes a hydrogeneration system for clean power while sailing, and ultramodern batteries with a capacity of 1 MWh.
