The launch of the Xcel 70 catamaran, which is expected to “exemplify the pinnacle of craftsmanship, innovation, and design”, is scheduled for January 2025
The catamaran features a modern exterior design, with a superstructure brought forward and expansive glazing. The hull lines go up at the bow and descend smoothly towards the stern, while the flybridge with a hard top fits into the profile of the vessel harmoniously.
According to the first renderings, with a length of 23.5 m and a beam of 8.9 m there are plenty of both exterior and interior spaces on board the Xcel 70. Thus, the flybridge, which is home to a lounge with sofas, a bar “island”, a dining area, a sunpad and a helm station with the state-of-the-art navigation equipment, has the area of about 80 sq.m, which makes it one of the largest in its class. According to the yard, there are customization options available to meet various cuwtomer needs and preferences.
Another exterior area is in the cockpit. It is well-protected from the sun and can be connected both to the saloon located behind the large sliding glass doors, and to a large bathing platform via two broad stairways. Guests can also relax comfortably on a sofa on the cozy foredeck.
The main saloon is divided into two areas: a large living room that can be transformed into a cinema, and a dining room with a galley on the starboard side and a dining table for eight on the portside. The helm station can be either enclosed or united with the social area of the saloon. According to the yard, they wanted to offer a good balance of interior and exterior spaces and make them comfortable both at anchor and during long voyages.
The yacht offers comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests in four cabins, and there are also options of layouts with five and six cabins. As for the interior design, it features a light colour scheme, rich wood panelling and stylish elements of steel, leather and marble.
The Xcel 70 can be equipped both with conventional diesel engines and a more eco-friendly diesel-electric propulsion system.
