On Saturday, the Gulf of Finland greeted the participants of the competition with changeable weather: bright sunshine gave way to rain, and the light wind of 5-6 knots picked up to 14 knots by the second race
The competition was really fierce, and the crews finished with minimal point differences. Enjoin Sailing emerged as the leader after five races (6 points), having won two of them. Amigos took second place, trailing by one point, while One More team finished third (10 points).
On Sunday the wind picked up to 16-20 knots, demanding higher levels of concentration and quick reactions from the sailors. The four races on the final day reshuffled the top three: Amigos (Pavel Ashitko, Tatiana Funtikova, Maria Banayan, Artem Sudakov) won the stage, One More (Igor Krugly, Alexey Tarasov, Alexander Patrushev, Vyacheslav Korovkin) took silver, and Enjoin Sailing (Andrey Pavlov, Anna Kurkina, Marina Morozova, Evgeny Vasiliev) got bronze.
The series comprises four stages. The final stage of the Summer Cup will take place at Smolenka yacht port on September 4-6.
