Despite the compact size, the CdM RJ102 has retained all the benefits of her elder sisters: excellent performance, ocean-going range and a highest level of comfort

Francesco Paszkowski, who has worked on the entire RJ series admits that his studio, Francesco Paszkowski Design, did have to work hard on this project: “We faced a puzzle when entrusted to design the RJ102: how do you preserve the commanding presence and go-anywhere confidence of a larger yacht in a rather small package? The answer arrives today. The proportions are unmistakably RJ, that bold, purposeful profile have been translated into the form the owners asked for. Every line, every angle carries the family resemblance while speaking its own language.”

Just like her larger predecessors, the RJ102 features an open aft section, several al fresco lounges and large expanses of glazing with floor-to-ceiling windows inside the superstructure. One of the obvious advantages of the model is her upper deck layout, where one can find a pool with sunpads, an enclosed lounge and a cosy dining area protected from the sun with a hard top.

The yacht can accommodate nine guests across four cabins (one of them featuring an extra pullman bed) and a crew of five.

While working in the yacht’s interior, Giorgio M. Cassetta focused on the owner’s lifestyle: “Mon Coeur’s mission is to serve as a base camp for a couple exploring the world from aboard her. Every element of the interior design, from the expansive owner-operated galley to the warm, natural materials and textures, and the organically shaped bespoke furniture, was conceived from the ground up for the owners. The style is both understated and elegant, yet warm and richly detailed. The highly customised layout provides generous space for a deliberately limited number of guests, reinforcing the yacht’s role as a setting for meaningful experiences made all the more memorable through sharing them.”

With a length of 31 m and a beam of 7.25 m and displacement of 250 tons, the Mon Coeur has a serious ocean-going ambition: she is powered by twin Caterpillar C18 Acert engines (IMO TIER III) of 533 kW each and fuel tanks of 30,000 L, which will ensure a range of over 3,500 nautical miles at a speed of 10 knots. Her top speed will be over 20 knots.
