The fully custom Project B2 explorer can boast all the features of a true expedition yacht. Her brutal, but modern and elegant exterior with a high bow reaching the upper deck tells you that the superyacht is ready to tackle any challenges, while the range of over 5000 nautical ensures she can deliver the guests to the most remote corners of the globe. The Italian shipyard has also taken care of the reliability of all technical systems and equipment of the vessel.
Francesco Paszkowski, whose studio has created both the exterior and interior for Project B2, has designed grand exterior deck spaces for the guests to in a number of outdoor spots offering maximum privacy, while preserving the feeling of contact with the sea.
The interiors are unpretentious, but elegant, offering a combination of exquisite materials, interesting details and simple forms to create an inviting atmosphere on board.
The main deck is home to four almost identical guest cabins. There are two more cabins below deck, where there also crew cabins. The captain’s cabin is located on the upper deck next to the helm station.
The tender and jet-skis can be stored on the main deck forward, and there is a crane for launching them. Besides, the guests and the owner can also use a chase boat for transfers and exploring the coasts in comfort.
To relax by the water there is a beach club with a sauna and a hammam, as well as a generous bathing platform.
With a robust steel hull and a lightweight aluminium superstructure the yacht has a displacement of 440 tonnes, while the smart naval architrecture from Hydro Tec ensures excellent seaworthiness and efficient fuel-consumption.
Two Caterpillar C32 Acert engines of 746 kW each and a fuel capacity of 60000 litres allow Project B2 to cover 5000 nautical miles without refuelling at a speed of 10 knots. The vessel’s top speed is 14 knots.
