The launch of the Eternal Spark superyacht in the West Istanbul Marina is the first one for Bilgin Yachts this year
Construction of the first Bilgin 163 hull started at the end of 2019, and in 2022 she found her customer. The exterior was designed in collaboration with Unique Yacht Design studio, and the interiors were created by Hot Lab.
The yacht with a hull of steel and a superstructure of aluminium stands out for a classical, but ‘sportive’ appearance, an unusual two-colour hull and numerous outdoor areas.
As the vessel was created for the charter market, the focus here is on entertainment. There are five bars and seven social areas, scattered across all four decks of the yacht, capable of hosting up to 100 guests simultaneously. The internal volume is 499 GT.
Milan-based Hot Lab studio offered over 60 natural finishes for the interior. The mirrorlike surfaces diffuse the light that gets in through large windows, and the upholstery materials contrast beautifully with the wooden panels. You can find 14 kinds of marble, ceilings of complex shapes, designer lamps, furniture and art objects on board.
Six cabins can accommodate 12 guests. The full-beam master and five more guest cabins are all different in colour combinations: the designers wanted to create the feeling of a bright and sunny villa on the Côte d'Azur.
Among other design features are a vast glass wall that divides the main saloon and the lobby, a floating central staircase with a huge chandelier and a skylight on the sundeck. There is also a sunken-level beach club with a sauna, an ice fountain, a lounge and a wet bar at the pool.
The yacht is powered by twin CAT C32 engines. At 12 knots the Eternal Spark can make up to 5000 nautical miles without refuelling. The top speed is 16.5 knots.
The Eternal Spark is scheduled to premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, and the second hull of the Bilgin 163 is currently underway.
