On the owner’s request, the self-tacking jib set and in-boom furling allow one to handle the yacht on one’s own

The custom yacht ordered by an experienced yachtsman who is a first-time customer of the Finnish shipyard stands out for her unusual hull colour

This rosé shade that is likely to have been chosen by the customer will definitely attract attention in any marina. Just like her simple exterior with a low profile and a coach roof that almost blends with the deck, which were developed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co in collaboration with Jens Paulus.

The shipyard describes the Baltic 80 Custom as a “multi-role” yacht suitable both for racing and family cruising. Her hull of composite materials, a lifting keel and a large aft tender garage come with maximally easy handling. On the owner’s request, the self-tacking jib set and in-boom furling allow one to handle the yacht on one’s own, while the hidden bimini tent can be installed fast and easily in case it is necessary.

The interiors of the Baltic 80 Custom were crafted by Jens Paulus and Axel Vervoordt. Six guests can be accommodated in three cabins. Besides, there is another cabin for a crew of two.

“She’s a particularly sleek and sporty looking yacht and could be regarded as a ‘new generation 80’ in a size range which has recently been attracting attention from clients. A lot of design work has been done to produce what should be a great performance cruiser-racer," said Henry Hawkins, executive vice president at Baltic Yachts.
