The platform Crossover range by the Italian range features superyachts ranging from 42 to 57 metres in length and meant for comfortable expeditions and long cruises
The name of the range, Crossover, explains a lot about the idea behind these vessels. Despite the fact that the Crossover 47 looks like a genuine expedition yacht, the focus here is on luxury and versatility. In fact, she is a superyacht with extended capabilities and an impressive range of about 5000 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Hydro Tec studio, experienced in creating expedition yachts for different shipyards, was in charge of the Columbus Crossover 47’s modern, masculine exterior, as well as the entire range. A high bow, a superstructure brought forward and an open aft section – there are all the features of an explorer yacht.
The superyacht with a length of 47 m and a beam of 2.7 m will be built of steel and aluminium. The naval architecture was created by Hydro Tec studio in collaboration with the shipyard’s inhouse experts, while the interiors of 475 GT were entrusted to Hot Lab studio.

Special attention has been given to the guests’ comfort. According to the shipyard, they have found a perfect balance of luxury, modern aesthetics and functionality.
There are cabins meant for accommodating up to 12 guests and a crew of 10. There is a spacious owner’s suite with an office, a dressing room and a bathroom on the main deck, and four more guest cabins below deck.
The sundeck is home to a jacuzzi, a bar and a lounge, and there are exterior lounges on the upper deck, too. But the main al fresco area is on the main deck aft.

One can store a tender weighing up to 3000 kg here, and there is a crane integrated in the upper deck overhang for launching it. If there is no tender, then the entire aft section turns into a luxurious lounge by the water, with a jacuzzi and sun-loungers. The bulwarks can fold out to increase the beach area and to offer the guests unobstructed panoramic views.
With twin CAT C32 ACERT engines, the superyacht will develop a provisional speed of up to 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
The Crossover 47, scheduled for delivery in 2027, is not the first vessel in the range. At present, the Crossover 42 is at the final construction stage and is scheduled for delivery this year
