The regatta was first held in 2020, and since 2022 it’s had the name of PROyachting Cup
Every year about 25 teams from all over the country take part in the competition.
The best yachtsmen are among the participants of the regatta, but amateurs who have gained enough experience and are ready to try fighting such serious rivals can take part, too. The competition is held for modern J/70 sport sailing yachts and consists of four stages:
Stage 1: May 23-27, Saint Petersburg, “Smolenka” yachting port
Stage 2: June 27 – July 1, Moscow region, “Pomestye Gals”
Stage 3: August 22 -26, Moscow region, “Pomestye Gals”

Based on the results of three stages, the crews will take part in the final that is scheduled to take place in Sochi on October 24-28.
