Bering Yachts has presented its latest developments at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
It’s the first time the shipyard has officially announced its 32.2-metre Bering 105 model. According to Bering Yachts, this stylish expedition yacht is the ultimate balance of luxury and exploration. Advanced design and newest technologies promise exclusive comfort on board and an opportunity to explore the world in complete safety. The yacht can accommodate 10 guests and a crew of seven.
One of the standout features of the model is the area of her exterior and interior, which is really large for a yacht of this size. There is a beach club and a spa / gym on board. The Bering 105 is optimized for charter and, according to the yard, at present four more units are being negotiated.
The second newcomer is the 49.4-metre B165 expedition superyacht. The negotiation of its first two units is already in progress. She is going to be Bering’s largest yacht to date, while the yard’s current flagship is the 44-metre Heeus (B145) launched in 2023.
The exterior of the B165 was developed by Swiss Valentin Design studio, whose goal was to create a new kind of explorer-crossover, combining usability and elegant design. It is a new direction for Bering Yachts, whose models have always stood out for their brutality characteristic of all classical explorers.
Compared to her predecessors, the B165 features an elongated aft deck with fold-out bulwarks. There are six cabins, two of which are VIPs connected to the cinema room on the main deck. It latter can also be transformed into an extra cabin if necessary. The upper deck is dedicated to the owner and features a private open terrace with a pool in addition to the cabin.
The bridge deck is home to another saloon with a bar and a firepit. Above it, there is a crow’s nest offering a 360-degree view. As befits the yacht of her size, the B165 has a beach club and can accommodate an entire fleet of tenders and water toys. With twin Caterpillar C32 engines the yacht can reach a top speed of 15 knots and has a range of 4000 nautical miles at a speed of 12 knots.
