The delivery of the yacht to the owner is scheduled for 2024, and as the construction is nearing completion, Van der Valk shipyard reveals more detailed information on the project
This time the Dutch shipyard has unveiled more details on the interiors of the aluminium superyacht with a length of 31.11 m and a beam of 7.70 m. Based on the renderings published by Carla Guilhem Design, which is in charge of the interior spaces, the emphasis has been made on the sleekness and fluidity of shapes and “Space-inspired” design that imitates the Moon surface. Mainly light, ecru shades are sometimes contrasted with darker inserts and bronze elements, while all the angles give way to circles and ovals.
The asymmetric layout contributed to the creation of unusual spaces. It is worth mentioning the arrangement, furnishing and textures of the dining area and lounge on the main deck, as well as the saloon on the bridgedeck.
The same feel is preserved in the master cabin on the main deck, as well as some exterior areas of the yacht. Thanks to the rounded shapes, sculptural surfaces and designer furniture it was possible to break the visual boundaries of the yacht interiors and create truly unique spaces. The futuristic atmosphere is enhanced by the floating furniture, hidden illumination and star-like lighting fixtures, as well as the rounded window shapes.
The unusual geometry is used in four guest cabins below deck, too, although to a lesser extent. The exterior of the Project 111.11 was developed by Guido de Groot Design. It is interesting to note that quite on the contrary it is rather straightforward and angular. The naval architecture of the vessel comes from Diana Yacht Design and Ginton Naval Architects.
The internal volume of the superyacht is 298 GT, and she will be powered by twin 750 hp Volvo D16-MH engines. Her provisional top speed is 14.4 knots, and her cruising speed is 13.54 knots.
According to the yard, the construction will be completed in the third quarter 2024, so the Project 111.11 is highly likely to be unveiled at autumn shows.
