RJ line flagship construction nearing completion at Cantiere delle Marche
The naval architecture of the RJ II was developed by PierLuigi Ausonio Naval Archtecture, and the exterior design was crafted by Francesco Paszkowki
Just like her younger sisters RJ115 and RJ130 the flagship of the line, the RJ155, has little in common with a brutal explorer and looks more like a classic “white” Mediterranean superyacht.
The elongated overhangs of the sundeck and the upper deck add slenderness to the profile and create natural shade for spacious verandas on the levels below them.
The interiors of the vessel were crafted by Salvagni Architetti studio. With the internal volume of 499 GT the superyacht with a steel hull and an alluminium superstructure has a draft of 2.65 m. The overall length of 46.78 m and the beam of 8.8 m allow for comfortable accommodation of up to 12 guests in five cabins. There are five more cabins for a crew of nine.
With twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT EPA Tier 3 engines the explorer can reach a top speed of 15 knots and has an impressive range of 4000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
The delivery of the superyacht to the owner is scheduled for 2025.
