First Sanlorenzo SHE unit getting ready for launch

The SHE was first unveiled as a concept last year and immediately got the status of an exclusive production offering.  According to the data from Sanlorenzo, five Heritage units have been sold prior to the official premiere

The project was designed in collaboration with Zuccon International Project and Lissoni & Partners. At first glance, the SHE may seem to be a carefully restored copy of a vintage Italian navetta of the last century, as the architecture, the colour palette and exterior finishes were inspired by the 1960s. But upon a closer look at the exterior, one can see she is a modern boat (it’s enough to look at the area and shape of her glazing!), and the list of technical innovations she features is really impressive.

With the style and name of the yacht model, which is an acronym for “Sanlorenzo Heritage”, the shipyard wanted to pay tribute to the "elegance and tradition of Italian yachtmaking". But in terms of functionality, performance and eco-friendliness, the SHE is in no way inferior to the most advanced contemporary models.

Bio-based resins and sandwich lamination were used for the hull with a length of 25.5 m and a beam of 6.5 m. The deck is finished in a synthetic material chosen for its low maintenance and cooler surface compared to traditional teak.

The use of lighter materials allowed for reducing the yacht’s weight and increasing the efficiency of hybrid propulsion.

The diesel element of the propulsion including twin Volvo Penta IPS30 PHEV systems with a power of 1,000 hp can deliver a cruising speed of up to 20 knots (the precise specifications will be provided by the yard after the sea trials are over). The electric part includes two electric motors of 160 kW each, capable of offering silent cruising at a speed of up 9 knots. In a combined mode, the electric energy will supplement the diesel engine's operation and reduce fuel consumption.

The SHE’s exterior spaces include a sunbathing area on the foredeck and a sundeck featuring Sanlorenzo's Smart Island system. Traditional cockpit comes with an advanced engineering solution: at anchor, the stern transforms into a sea-level terrace with a swim platform.

The interior layout features some interesting designer solutions, too. Thus, there is a mezzanine with a dining area connecting the main and lower decks and allowing the guests to enjoy sea views while having a meal. Besides, the SHE does not have any solid bulwarks; instead, all her decks feature railing, like on a sailboat, which opens up fantastic views.

The lower deck is home to three cabins for six guests (including the full-beam owner’s suite and one VIP cabin) and a galley and accommodation for a crew of three.

The interior designed by renowned Piero Lissoni stands out for architectural purity and warm colour palette. The saloon resembles a refined Milanese lounge, featuring mahogany and natural textiles, while bespoke free-standing furniture is combined with retro-style sculptural accents.

“Innovation rooted in respect for tradition, SHE demonstrates how the most enduring ideas continue to inspire when reinterpreted with a clear and conscious intent,” said Sanlorenzo executive chairman Massimo Perotti. “Echoing the elegance and balance of the classic navetta through contemporary design and cutting-edge technologies, SHE embodies our belief that true luxury is not measured by trends, but by its ability to endure and remain relevant over time”.

The yacht can be viewed at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 running on September 8-13.
