The first Swan 80 hull is scheduled to hit water in 2026 and is expected to fill in the gap between more compact Swans and larger Swan Maxi models
The news about the Swan 80 first appeared during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023. The yacht was conceived by the shipyard’s long-time partner Germán Frers, with exterior design by Lucio Micheletti and interior crafted Misa Poggi.
With a length of 23.99 m this is the largest model in the Swan range and the smallest one in the Maxi range. They call her a “mini-Maxi” at Nautor Swan and claim that she has not just inherited the best traits from her younger and elder sisters, but is an ideal yacht for the Mediterranean "without any limitations".
The deck area has been reconsidered and made cleaner. Almost all of it is covered with teak, including the cockpit coamings to make it easier for the crew to move around. The helm stations have been brought aft, to free more space for the lounge area in the cockpit, with sofas opposite each other and transformable tables. There are other options available for the cockpit, too.
As for the accommodation, there are different cabin arrangement options, depending on the owner’s preferences. In the standard version there are four cabins for eight guests with a master apartment and a VIP cabin forward, and two guest cabins. There is a double crew cabin and a galley aft. According to the shipyard, this layout is best both for large families, and for charter.
The Swan 80 hull is made of foam cored glass fibre epoxy reinforced with carbon fibre to make it more solid and durable. It is also known that there are options of fixed or telescopic keels of various length available.
