According to the Italian Palladino Yacht Design team, their brainchild is meant to be able to adjust to different climates easily and positioned as a vessel with an unlimited navigation area
The megayacht’s appearance is really futuristic. Although she features rather athletic shapes with a rounded reverse bow and two superstructures, she doesn’t look heavyweight. The superstructure's graceful side pylons, the radar mast that looks like an art object and multi-level decks with almost continuous glazing offset the bulkiness of the 110-meter hull, creating a dynamic interplay of lines and volumes.
The most interesting thing about the project is that there are summer and winter configurations.
The option for a warmer climate features two large purple oval structures on the observation deck. They are not decorations, but motorised sunpads that can glide along a track at the push of a button, ensuring excellent views and suntan.
For colder waters, the observation deck can be fully enclosed with the help of an automatic roof system and curved glazing on the sides.
The open deck amidships follows the same pattern. With the help of a mobile roof and enclosing panels one can create a protected lounge suitable even for a cold climate.
There will be two pools, a helipad and a large garage that can accommodate some support fleet and water toys, as well as land vehicles like sport cars, off-roaders and ATVs.
The aft section is home to a beach club with an adjoining health centre, including a sauna, a yoga studio, a gym and a juice bar.
For entertainment there is a cinema, a pool table with a media wall, a cigar room and a wine cellar.
The owner’s suite located forward is another highlight of the project. The architectural centre is the split-level lounge with huge round windows. The generous space may not only serve as an area for relaxation, but as a library, an office or, with the doors open to the adjoining private deck, as a summer saloon.
“Altogether, this yacht concept stands out for its innovative use of space, seamless indoor-outdoor integration and its ability to cater to both adventure and indulgence in equal measure," said studio founder Gregg Palladino, commenting on the Wild One project.
